Elephant Cave or Gua Gajah is one Places of Interesting in Bali it is located in a village called Bedulu, sub-district of Blahbatuh and district of Gianayar, it is about 27 kilometers from Denpasar. This Elephant cave was crevasse edge from the federation of 2 rills that local community more familiar to called "pangkung". This place where the united streams coming from the Petanu River and "pangkung" is highly in believed has magical energy based Rwabineda concept / two different things in one concept, based on the Rwuabineda concept then this elephant Cave was build between two rivers.
Elephant Cave or Gua Gajah come from two word there is LWA and Gajah, which is the name of Buddha temple or be imprisoned for a Buddhist monk. The name of elephant cave or Gua Gajah contained in "Negarakertagama" papyrus that created or compiled by MPU Prapanca on 1365 AD. LWA or local community’s ore familiar with the word Lwah / loh mean the river and give meaning hermitage located in a river or Gajah River or Air Gajah. In the year 944 Saka according to the Balinese calendar, it is referred as "ser ring Air Gajah ' that has meaning Subak leader in Air Gajah.
